Dr. Rebekah Oyler received her medical degree from Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine and completed dermatologic residency training at UNC Chapel Hill. She is a board certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has been practicing dermatology in Raleigh for 20 years and decided to open her own practice. She enjoys painting, swimming, and fishing. Katie Serafen, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Capital Dermatology of NC. A native of Atlanta, GA, Katie attended college at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. She received a Master of Medical Science degree from Mercer University’s PA program and previously worked as a PA in emergency medicine and family medicine before joining Capital Dermatology. She is excited to be back in North Carolina practicing as a PA. Katie is very passionate about dermatology and looks forward to seeing patients of all ages, as well as developing personalized treatment plans for her patients. She is eager to form relationships and provide the best care possible to her patients with acute and chronic skin conditions. Outside of work, Katie enjoys travel, yoga, true crime podcasts, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her fiancé, black lab and golden retriever, family, and friends.
