KinderCare Learning Center in Raleigh offers high-quality daycare, child care, and early childhood education in a safe, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, create and grow.   • Anneke Dickerman

    Anneke Dickerman started with Knowledge Beginnings in the summer of 2006. She has experience as a program specialist, and assistant director with Knowledge Beginnings. Currently she enjoys having the opportunity to support the wonderful families, children and staff at the school with the best educational experience. Anneke was born in Washington D.C., and has lived in five different countries while growing up. She graduated from East Carolina University with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Community Service with a minor in Health Education. Go Pirates! Anneke also completed her Administration I and  II courses during her time as a program specialist. Anneke has been working with children in a variety of settings over the last 15 years. She looks forward to working with children and helping them become educated, confident, compassionate and contributing members to the community.

  • Ms. Erica S.

    Ms. Erica started caring for children as a nanny when she was a teenager. She then joined the KinderCare Education family in 2001 working with Infants, Toddlers and Preschool children. She started school in 2003 to earn her degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, Ms. Erica held positions in both management and teaching within the Early Childhood Education field. After taking some time off the start a family of her own, Ms. Erica returned to KinderCare Education in 2013 as a Preschool teacher. Although not fluent in Spanish, she enjoys incorporating the language in her classroom whenever possible. Her favorite thing about working with Preschool children is watching the world through their eyes as they build their independence and gain understanding of their place in the world.

  • Ms. Shenika

    Ms. Shenika is a teacher in the Infant classroom and has been with Knowledge Beginnings since 2008. Ms. Shenika has interned within childcare centers, volunteered, and worked with children through the YMCA youth programs. She earned her Early Childhood Education Credentials at Haywood Community College. Ms. Shenika loves all children but her passion is working with Infants and Toddlers. She loves working with them everyday and enjoys seeing all the kindness and generosity they have in their hearts. She also loves how much they teach her while she teaches and watches them grow and develop.

  • Ms. Lasheeka

    Ms. Lasheeka is a teacher in the Infant Classroom at Knowledge Beginnings. She has 10 years of experience in&nbsp; the Early Childhood field. In her career she has held different positions such as Childcare Provider, Tutor, and Lead Teacher in the Two and Three year old Classroom.<br /> Ms. Lasheeka obtained her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in December 2014. Since then she has strived to enrich the lives and provide quality care to all children entrusted in her care.<br /> Ms. Lasheeka loves being creative. She believes modeling positive behaviors and allowing children to explore, create and discover gives them vital tools to be successful in their journey of learning.<br /> Ms. Lasheeka will be attending The University of North Carolina Greensboro this Fall, in pursue of a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood.

    <p><!--block-->Ms. Teresia joined our Knowledge Beginnings School and we are so excited to have her in our Infant classroom! She comes with over 20 years of experience working with different age groups. She has her Early Childhood Education Credentials and she is currently working on getting her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Children love being in her classroom because she allows them to be themselves and become the best they can be. Children also love the positive environment she provides.</p>
