Growing up with an autistic brother, my family struggled to manage his co-occurring medical conditions, including feeding difficulties, gastrointestinal issues, seizures, and insomnia. From these experiences, I decided to become a psychologist who specializes in neurodevelopmental disabilities and associated health concerns. My intervention planning is derived from a theoretical foundation grounded in cognitive behavioral principles, with emphases on Structured TEACCHing and behavior management. I primarily work with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, such as autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and language disabilities.
