My passion for helping people through difficult times in their lives led me to pursue a career in medicine. My philosophy of patient care is centered on treating the whole person through a holistic approach, rather than focusing solely on a disease, condition, or abnormal lab result. My areas of interest include treating a wide range of bacterial, fungal, and viral infections in adults, including bloodstream infections, bone and joint infections, complex lung infections such as pneumonia, hardware-related infections, prosthetic joint infections, and HIV. Outside of work, I find joy in nature and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy reading about ancient history, civilizations, and human development, as well as the progress humanity has made throughout time.
