I’m a board-certified general surgeon with North Carolina Surgery in Raleigh. I’m committed to providing the highest standard of surgical care through clinical excellence, open communication, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach. My goal is to ensure that every patient feels informed, supported, and confident throughout each step of their care. My practice covers the full range of general surgery, with special expertise in robotic and minimally invasive techniques. I have a particular interest in complex hernia repair and other advanced abdominal surgeries. By using innovative surgical methods, I strive to promote faster recovery, minimize discomfort, and achieve the best possible outcomes for my patients. Before joining North Carolina Surgery, I practiced in East Tennessee for more than eight years. During that time, I developed a deep appreciation for the role that communication and collaboration play in building lasting relationships with patients. I take pride in helping people fully understand their treatment options so they can make informed decisions that reflect their personal goals and values. Outside of my professional practice, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, exploring creative arts and crafts, and being with my family. These activities bring balance to my life and keep me grounded in the same values of connection, curiosity, and care that I bring to my work as a surgeon.
