I began my career in medicine as a nursing assistant in 2014 to gain an understanding of the field, ultimately pursuing nursing for its many opportunities to learn and grow. After graduating nursing school in 2016, a motorcycle accident, while painful, created the opportunity to connect with a local FQHC, where I found my professional home in HIV primary care. My approach to care is patient-centered, focusing on ensuring patients understand their options and actively participate in their treatment decisions. Outside of work, I enjoy reading as well as spending time outdoors running, hiking, or relaxing in a hammock with friends, family, or on my own.
