Description
I chose to become an advanced practice provider for a few reasons. However, I want to positively impact patients’ health outcomes and improve their quality of life. By having advanced training and the ability to diagnose and treat illnesses, I can evaluate each patient in an individualized manner while using evidence-based guidelines to assist them with their health concerns. I believe prioritizing the needs, preferences, and values of patients in all decisions by effectively communicating with the patient and family member/s is critical when evaluating patients. Maintaining empathy and respect is imperative as well. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my son and fur baby, exercising, reading, and cooking. I look forward to traveling at some point.
