I knew medicine was the path for me since childhood. I have always been passionate about caring for others and have a deep need to discover better ways to do this. Medicine was a perfect blend of science, caring and artistry that seemed to satisfy my insatiable desire to make our lives better. My philosophy for the practice of medicine is to always aim for personalized service with respect. While I consider myself a general OB/GYN, my special interests in medicine include menopause, sexual health, vulvovaginal disorders, fibroids, and, contraception/family planning. In addition to my general OB/GYN training, I have also been certified in the O-shot and P-shot developed by Dr. Runel. Both are specialized procedures that help men and women with sexual dysfunction develop more satisfying intimate relationships. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my college-aged daughters, hiking, reading, writing, and walking my forever-a-puppy senior rescue dog.
