My chief reason for choosing the field of Social Work was to give back and use my creativity in many different ways. Problem-solving is my thing, and I get to do that all day. I love that every day is different, and, of course, I like people- everyone has an interesting story to tell! My goal is to better understand, nurture and leverage the innate strengths that have helped patients survive so that we can apply those to the healing process. I hold a passion for working with adolescents and adults and helping them function in a positive, learning and caring environment. I take a highly collaborative approach to therapy. My style is warm and non-judgmental while also honest and direct. Outside of work, I love adventure in all forms and discovering new things to learn and experience. I am passionate about life, family, creativity and humor.
